Brand film
The story behind a company, in two to three minutes. Concept, interviews, footage and edit. One film you can use for years.
Edit & grade
Already have footage? I'll take over the edit: structure, rhythm, colour, sound. Also available as a standalone job on your own rushes.
Social video
Vertical work for Reels, TikTok and ads. One shoot day gives you a month of content, cut to fit each format and platform.
AI video
Shots you can't film: locations that don't exist, scenes that don't fit the budget. It works the other way round too. Send over footage you already have and I can extend it, restyle it, or generate new shots that cut straight into the edit. Product stills, a logo or an old campaign are often enough to build on. Everything gets graded to match, so it still reads as one film.
Event & aftermovie
From conference to festival. I shoot the day and deliver within a week: an aftermovie that holds the atmosphere rather than summarising it.
About
I'm Joey. I started filming ten years ago because I wanted to know how you get a feeling into a shot. That's what I've built the ten years since around.
After two and a half years working and travelling through Australia I settled in Rotterdam. From there I shoot for brands, founders and makers. Usually alone, sometimes with a regular crew when the project calls for it.
Alongside camera work I've been digging into AI-generated footage. Not as a replacement for a shoot day, but as another tool: it makes shots possible that would otherwise fall outside the budget. What matters stays the same. A film only works when someone recognises something of themselves in it. Framing, rhythm and light are the tools, never the point. The point is that a viewer feels something before they've worked out why.
